I’m Ken, and I run SEASANG APPAREL, a garment factory in Humen, Dongguan. Founders often ask me which other hoodie manufacturers in China they should look at. They want to compare before they commit, and that’s a sensible thing to do. This guide lists nine factories that make hoodies or list categories that usually include them. For each one I give what it says on its own website about minimum order quantity (MOQ) and lead time. After that there’s a comparison table, and then the part I think matters most: how to choose, and what to ask.
Please read this with one thing in mind. Every number below about another factory comes from that factory’s public website, collected on 15 October 2026. I haven’t visited these factories and I haven’t ordered from them. Websites change, and the number on a page is a starting point for a conversation, not a contract. The list is in no particular order. Its position on the page doesn’t mean one factory is better than another.
Why this list has nine names, not ten
I started with ten Chinese apparel factories that have English websites. Two of them, JUAJEANS and DiZNEW, are both in Dongguan and both work only in denim, according to their websites. If your range is only hoodies they aren’t relevant, so I left them out of the main list. If you also plan to make jeans, they’re worth a look; I mention them again near the end. I’ve included our own factory once, labelled clearly, so you can compare us on the same terms.
The factories, in no particular order
QYOURECLO (Humen, Dongguan)
According to its website, QYOURECLO makes hoodies, sweatpants, sets, T-shirts, denim and jackets. The FAQ on its hoodie page gives an MOQ of 100 pieces per colour. It quotes 7-10 days for samples and 20-25 days for bulk. The site also displays ISO, OEKO-TEX, WRAP and GRS certificates. If your retailer or market asks for paperwork like that, ask the factory for current copies and check their scope and expiry dates.
Hongyu Apparel (Humen, Dongguan)
According to its website, Hongyu Apparel makes T-shirts, hoodies, streetwear, swimwear and sleepwear. The site states a 50-piece MOQ that can be mixed across sizes, styles and colours. It quotes samples in 3 days and bulk in 12-18 days. It also publishes a catalogue, which helps if you’re starting from an existing base style rather than your own pattern.
Huilin Fashion (Panyu, Guangzhou)
According to its website, Huilin Fashion works in kidswear, activewear, womenswear and streetwear. Hoodies aren’t named as a separate category in the information I collected, so ask directly whether they’re in scope. The site gives an MOQ of 50-100 pieces and bulk production of 21 working days. It also states a 5,000 m² facility and 22 years in operation.
AKCN / clothingproducer.com (Guangdong)
According to its website, AKCN covers 14 product categories, including T-shirts, hoodies and denim. It lists facilities in Zhejiang and Henan as well as Guangdong. The site states a 50-piece MOQ and 7-day sampling, and it lets you upload a design directly on the site.
Qianshi Wear (Guangzhou)
According to its website, Qianshi Wear covers 12 categories, including tees, hoodies, sets and denim. It states orders from 50 pieces, 7-day samples, and bulk in “under 2 weeks”. The site lists six certifications.
SEASANG APPAREL (Humen, Dongguan) — this is us
This is our factory, so read it as our own description, not an outside review. We make hoodies, sweatshirts, T-shirts, jeans and tracksuit sets. Puff print, screen print, embroidery and denim washes are arranged with partner workshops here in Humen. We source cotton fleece and French terry to your spec, usually somewhere around 300-500 gsm. Our MOQ is about 100 pieces per style per colour, with the size split inside that number. Samples take 7-10 days depending on construction. Bulk takes about 2 weeks after you approve the sample. Shipping is separate. More detail is on our hoodie manufacturing page.
Easson Apparel (Dongguan)
According to its website, Easson Apparel focuses on knitwear: T-shirts, hoodies, sets and kidswear. The site gives an MOQ of 100 pieces per style per colour, samples in 8-12 days, and bulk in 25-35 days.
JiuvelWear (Humen, Dongguan)
According to its website, JiuvelWear makes hoodies, knit tops, outerwear, pants and sets. The site says “low MOQ” but doesn’t give a number, so you’ll need to ask. It quotes samples in 7-15 working days and bulk in 25-45 days. It has separate service pages for small-batch orders and garment washing. Garment washing matters if you want a faded or vintage-look hoodie.
MMS Clothing (Chengdu)
According to its website, MMS Clothing offers a full range of garment categories. It states that some items can start from 1 piece per style per colour, and it quotes bulk at 30-60 days. It’s the only factory on this list outside Guangdong. That can matter if you plan to combine shipments with other suppliers in the south.

How to choose between hoodie manufacturers in China
The table makes it look like you should pick the lowest MOQ and the shortest lead time. That’s rarely the right way to decide. Here’s what I’d look at instead.
Read the MOQ carefully
“50 pieces” and “100 pieces per style per colour” are very different numbers. Take a hoodie in three colours. At 100 per style per colour, that’s 300 pieces. At 50 pieces mixed across colours, it could be 50 in total. Also check whether sizes are split inside the MOQ (usual) or counted separately. If the factory buys fabric dyed to your colour, the mill’s minimum dye lot can push the real minimum higher than the number on the website. Our low MOQ guide goes through this in more detail.
Ask what the lead time is counted from
Bulk lead time can start from the deposit, from sample approval, or from the day fabric arrives. It can be in working days or calendar days. A quote of “under 2 weeks” and one of “25 working days” can be closer than they look, or further apart. Embellishment adds time. Puff print, embroidery and garment washing are often done in a separate workshop, and every handover adds a step. The weeks around Chinese New Year are slow almost everywhere in the industry, so plan around them. Our sampling and production page shows how we count our own timeline.
Match the factory to the hoodie, not the other way round
A plain 300 gsm pullover and a 450 gsm boxy hoodie are different jobs. The second might have a double-layer hood, puff print and an acid wash. Ask each factory for photos or samples of something close to your design. If you’re still deciding on fabric weight, our hoodie GSM guide explains how gsm affects drape, shrinkage and fit. For raised prints, see our puff print hoodie page.
Location matters for some ranges
Humen and the rest of Dongguan have a lot of print, embroidery and wash workshops close together. That makes it easier to combine techniques on one garment. If you need jeans as well as hoodies, the two denim specialists I left out of the main list are JUAJEANS (100 pcs per style, samples 7-10 days, according to its website) and DiZNEW (30 pcs MOQ, samples 12-18 days, bulk 25-40 days, according to its website). Several of the general factories above list denim too.
What to ask before you pay for a sample
- Is the MOQ per style, per colour, or per order? Are sizes split inside it?
- Is the sample made in the actual bulk fabric and colour, or in a similar stock fabric?
- Is the fabric pre-shrunk? What shrinkage should I expect after washing?
- Is the print, embroidery or wash done in-house or by a partner? Who checks it?
- Does the bulk lead time start from deposit, sample approval or fabric arrival? Working or calendar days?
- What happens if bulk doesn’t match the approved sample?
- Can you send photos or measurements from the production line before packing?
- If certifications matter to you: can you send current certificates, and what exactly do they cover?
Send the same tech pack and the same questions to two or three factories. Then you’re comparing like with like. If you don’t have a tech pack yet, our guide on how to find a clothing manufacturer covers what to prepare.
Working with us
If your hoodie fits what we do — heavyweight fleece or French terry, puff print, embroidery or washes, from about 100 pieces per style per colour — send us your design, reference photos or tech pack through the request-a-quote page. I’ll tell you plainly whether we’re a good fit, what the sample will involve and how long it will take.
