Each wash direction gets its own sample, so the colour you approve is the colour you receive.
Washing shrinks denim. Measurements are checked after the wash, not before.

The wash is what gives jeans their character. SEASANG makes custom jeans in Humen, Dongguan, one of the main denim districts in China, and arranges rinse, stone wash, acid wash, bleach and vintage-look finishes with the wash plants we work with there. Every wash is developed on a sample before bulk.
Each wash changes the colour, the hand feel and the shrinkage of the denim, so we plan each wash like a separate colour: it has its own sample and its own approval. Send a reference pair or clear photos of the wash you want, plus your fit measurements. We check the measurements after washing, because that is the size your customer gets.
Stone wash tumbles denim with stones for an even, softer fade. Acid wash uses stones soaked in a bleaching agent, giving a high-contrast, mottled look.
Natural variation is part of washed denim, but we match bulk against the approved sample and flag anything outside it before shipping.
